Drawing inspiration from 1980s coldwave and post-punk, Pyrame injects the project with his trademark precision and emotive nuance. The lead track is a swirling maze of broken melodies and thumping bass, a sort of existential dancefloor anthem. Each note seems to ask a question: What are we becoming?

The remixes are equally compelling. H.L.M.’s take is the most experimental, embracing dissonance and broken structures. Oltrefuturo nods to early synth-pop while pushing the tempo toward cinematic territories. Acid Washed embraces the club with a remix that merges old-school French touch with gritty modernism.
